Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, internationally recognized as a leading buyer and seller of low mile, excellent condition Grand Wagoneers, presents this most rare color, 1st year edition Grand Wagoneer in stunning Green.

The choice of color is quite often the most important factor for many of our buyers when selecting that Wagoneer they have always dreamed of. One of our top requests is the “ever illusive green.” Search the web and they are always in very limited supply, especially low-mile excellent condition examples. With that in mind we present a most unique and rare find. In 1984 the Grand Wagoneer nameplate hit the market and that moniker would be with it to the end in 1991. Ten color choices were available in 1984 including a very limited number in Green. Truly a wonderful find especially since it spent its entire life in southern states free of corrosive winters. If green is your color preference this outstanding example is worthy of your consideration. We were thrilled to acquire this one knowing that it might be the only one to ever come our way.

This ’84 is flat out stunning. Carfax and Autocheck both confirm this is a lifetime southern vehicle with the low miles listed as actual and no accidents ever reported.
The Green paint was just applied and looks brilliant, making this most iconic looking Grand our favorite restoration this year. The wood siding and wood trim are likewise brand new, sourced from Team Grand Wagoneer. The front grill is also fresh out of the box, along with the original wheels being professionally refinished. Those wheels are wrapped with newly installed whitewall tires and feature the correct for 1st edition ’84 Grands, red, white and blue center wheel caps. How cool is that! The remaining exterior chrome and aluminum pieces, including the bumpers, door handles, side mirrors and luggage rack, while not new still present in very good condition with only light wear and aging present.

The Nutmeg leather interior continues the traditional/classic Grand presentation. First off, have a look at that oh so vintage, deep pile brownish shag carpeting. It is original to the car and you couldn’t buy anything like it in today’s replacement market. That is why even though there is some slight fraying of the carpet in the very rear corners of the cargo area, we left it alone. Easily covered anyway with our rear cargo mat. Look closely at those leather seats. We spent a fair amount of time on those and it shows. They are in excellent condition. The door panels, dash (check out those uber classic round gauges), all the way up to the headliner, all beautiful. Averaging under 3,000 miles per year, this cabin never did have heavy use and it shows. There are plenty of luxury comforts inside, by 1984 luxury SUV standards. Those appointments are all in working order and include: Power steering, power brakes, all power windows, power door locks, power passenger’s side mirror (driver’s side mirror is part time..works when it’s in the mood) , power seats, cruise control, air conditioning and the original AM/FM/Cassette player.

The engine/transmission/electricals have all been inspected and works sorted, where deemed needed. That includes both the 4 wheel High and 4 wheel Low settings. Yes, our sales are all as is but we are highly skilled specialists in the Grand Wagoneer field and our expertise shows in pieces like this one. We spend time and treasure not only on the cosmetic bits you can see, but also the important mechanicals. We have complete service and restoration billings covering all of the works we organized and sorted here. These invoices can be email scanned to interested parties for a detailed review. We do not spend monies detailing the engine bays and undercarriages as our buyers, in general, plan on driving and enjoying these Grands regularly. All of our inventory’s frames/undercarriages will exhibit normal and to be expected surface rust/scaling but will pass stringent New York State safety inspection guidelines. This one, being a southern vehicle, has one solid undercarriage.

Why buy from a Grand Wagoneer specialist? For us the answer is simple- our entire focus is on Grand Wagoneers and we know these unique vehicles inside and out. When you purchase a Classic Gentleman Wagoneer it has been thoroughly inspected and all necessary work completed by professional mechanics, some with over forty years of Wagaoneer experience. We purchase fine example Jeeps from a variety of sources including other dealers and private parties. We are often told by the seller, “My Jeep is excellent and needs nothing” however, being in this profession, we know to expect and plan for a great deal of sorting. Our average service bills per unit range from $4000 to $12,000 and these costs do not include cosmetic restoration to the exterior/interior. A far reach from needing nothing. Remember the average age of these vehicles is thirty years more or less, and even with loving care many mechanical parts have aged and worn accordingly. Purchase a Wagoneer from a source other than a specialist and odds are that you may experience servicing and repair costs that may dampen your joy and enthusiasm for that Wagoneer that you always wanted. You may only own one of these in your lifetime, while we buy, fully sort and sell dozens and dozens per year. That is a lot of practice and when a Classic Gentleman Grand Wagoneer arrives at your home, it is a special occasion. It will be in beautiful condition and ready to drive and enjoy. Yes, our sales are as-is, but as you will see from our detailed service invoices, she has been looked after from nose to tail. Our goal is to see that the joy and enthusiasm of Grand Wagoneer ownership begins immediately with your purchase and that it will be there for years to come.

Be sure to have a look at our website’s recommendation page where you can see first hand the positive experiences of a worldwide assortment of named buyers. We deal honestly and work hard to insure a happy buyer. You will never be pressured or chased for a sale but given all the time needed to insure if a purchase is right for you. Guided by these principals, our modestly sized niche dealership has built a loyal and devoted customer base spanning 5 continents.

If you wish to organize an inspection before purchase, please do so before placing an offer. This Grand will enthusiastically be made available. You are welcome to ring 724-996-1288 for a cordial discussion regarding this example or any other in our current or soon to be on offer extensive inventory.
