Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, internationally recognized as a leading buyer, restorer and seller of low mile, excellent condition Grand Wagoneers, presents this lovely 1987 Deep Night Blue Metallic Grand Wagonner with only 76,127 original miles.

I’m not sure why such a relatively high percentage of our low mile, well cared for Wagoneers manage to keep the affection of their original owners for decades and decades, whilst other makes and models are traded in every 3 years or so. Even considering that these Grands cost the same as Lincolns and Cadillacs when new, they were purchased by buyers with the wherewithal to buy, trade and sell as often as anyone else. But at Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, we are fortunate for these past long-term owners, or their heirs, to seek us out when they are ready to sell. It is probably a combination of the successful but otherwise low key type of buyer these have always attracted along with the circumstance that their design has aged so well and become even more dear, over the decades. Until our purchase, this was a one family owned Oklahoma piece for over 30 years… Passing from Grandfather to Grandson and then sent to us to return her to her former glory in the hopes of her captivating another long lasting and caring key holder. Carfax and Autocheck confirm the long-term one family ownership history in the gentle state of Oklahoma with no accidents ever reported. This Grand of course has a great undercarriage and frame, thanks to that heritage.

The Deep Night Blue Metallic paint has just been applied and is a perfect color for these iconic SUVs. The wood trim is likewise new, along with the wood siding. We also replaced all the window wipes, external chrome flexible pieces and the rubber mounting gaskets for the door handles, mirrors, luggage rack and on and on. The front grill frame is spanking new and the wheels have just been refinished. The remaining exterior chrome and aluminum bits including the bumpers, luggage rack, handles, center wheel caps and so on, whilst not new still present in good condition with just normal aging/wear present and suit the Grand well. The new white wall tires have just fitted, balanced and aligned.

The tan color interior is the favorite shade for everyone and set against the Deep Night Blue Metallic and the wood, you can see why. The leather portion of the seats have been re-coated with the fabric inserts left as original. When the windshield was being replaced, we took the opportunity to re-dye the dashboard along with the steering wheel. All the floor carpeting in the cabin area is new, along with the cargo area floor, sides and interior tailgate carpet. Just the carpeting on the seat backs and lower door panels are original but since they never receive wear there, they are in excellent shape. Also included are a set of 4 custom Grand Wagoneer floor mats to protect the new carpeting. Up top, the tan color headliner is likewise fresh and just installed.

The cabin is loaded with all her options working well including power seats, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, power mirrors, a just fitted AM/FM/CD stereo and the all important air conditioning.

The engine, transmission and electricals have all been inspected and an extensive amount of works have just been completed on this Grand. Yes, our sales are all as is but we look after the bits you can’t see, just as much as the cosmetic appearance. The 4 wheel drive option is of course ready to go with a flick of the switch.

Why buy from a Grand Wagoneer specialist? For us the answer is simple- our entire focus is on Grand Wagoneers and we know these unique vehicles inside and out. When you purchase a Classic Gentleman Wagoneer it has been thoroughly inspected and all necessary work completed by professional mechanics, some with over forty years of Wagaoneer experience. We purchase fine example Jeeps from a variety of sources including other dealers and private parties. We are often told by the seller, “My Jeep is excellent and needs nothing” however, being in this profession, we know to expect and plan for a great deal of sorting.

Remember the average age of these vehicles is thirty years more or less, and even with loving care many mechanical parts have aged and worn accordingly. Purchase a Wagoneer from a source other than a specialist and odds are that you may experience servicing and repair costs that may dampen your joy and enthusiasm for that Wagoneer that you always wanted. You may only own one of these in your lifetime, while we buy, fully sort and sell dozens and dozens per year. That is a lot of practice and when a Classic Gentleman Grand Wagoneer arrives at your home, it is a special occasion. It will be in beautiful condition and ready to drive and enjoy. Our goal is to see that the joy and enthusiasm of Grand Wagoneer ownership begins immediately with your purchase and that it will be there for years to come.
